Thomas Thornton

  • S&P futures up 0.8% after US equities finished higher on Monday as the pro-cyclical trade continued on another round of fairly upbeat coronavirus vaccine news and better than expected November flash PMI readings.
  • Covering my small short position with NKLA. EV space defies logic
  • Asian markets mostly higher overnight with Japan and Australia the big gainers while China ended down.
  • European markets seeing good gains.
  • Treasuries are unchanged to slightly weaker.
  • Dollar weaker on the major crosses.
  • Gold down 1.6% after falling nearly 2% in the prior session.
  • WTI crude up 1.1% after gaining 1.5% on Monday.
